Overall, the Sea of Cortez boasts a warm, sunny climate. Breezes are good but are not constant and change from day to day. Both winter and summer are dry and humidity tends to be low. Summer temperatures do get high (over 100 F) during the summer months but are moderate and comfortable during the winter.

Temperatures tend to drop off at night and sweaters/jackets are often needed to keep warm. Water temperatures vary greatly depending on the season and wet suits may be necessary for winter swimming and diving.
